Privacy Policy

Last updated: [date]

Short version: every tool on this site runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded, transmitted to, or stored on any server we operate. We have no way to see the contents of what you process here.

What we don't collect

We do not operate a backend for file processing. There is no upload endpoint. PDFs you open in any tool on this site are read, processed, and (where applicable) downloaded again entirely within your browser tab. We never receive a copy of your files, their contents, or any data extracted from them.

We do not require an account, and we do not ask for your name, email address, or any other personal information to use any tool on this site.

What is stored locally on your device

The only thing this site saves is a single preference: whether you've chosen dark or light theme, stored in your browser's localStorage. This value never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or anyone else. We do not use tracking cookies, analytics scripts, or fingerprinting of any kind.

Third-party infrastructure

Loading this site involves a small number of third parties whose standard technical logs are outside our control:

  • Hosting provider. This site is served as static files via Cloudflare Workers. Like essentially every web host, Cloudflare keeps ordinary server access logs (IP address, requested path, timestamp, user agent). This is standard web infrastructure logging, not something specific to this site, and we do not use it to identify you or your activity. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
  • jsDelivr (CDN). The open-source libraries each tool depends on (pdf.js, Tesseract.js, pdf-lib) are fetched from jsDelivr's public CDN. Your browser makes a direct request to jsDelivr for those files, subject to jsDelivr's own privacy practices, not ours. See jsDelivr's privacy policy. We verify the integrity of what jsDelivr returns with a cryptographic hash before executing it, but we don't control what jsDelivr itself logs about the request.

Neither of the above involves your file contents. They relate only to the loading of the page and its code, not to anything you subsequently do with a PDF in your browser.

Children's privacy

This site does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children, because it does not collect personal information at all.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Since the core fact (nothing is uploaded) is a property of how the site is built rather than a promise we could quietly break, we don't expect this policy to change often.
