Normalize PDF structure
Creates a new serialized PDF. It intends to retain pages, metadata, attachments, actions, forms, and tags, but malformed or unsupported objects may be omitted. Any signature can be invalidated.
Local diagnostics
Compare strict and tolerant parsers, inspect bounded structural signals, and optionally test every page without uploading the PDF.
A signature field is present. Any rewrite can invalidate an existing digital signature; validity is not checked.
Structure-tree, language, title, and alternative-text presence are readiness signals only.

Lossy: renders every page into a fresh image-only PDF. Searchable text, links, forms, annotations, attachments, metadata, tags, vector detail, and signatures are removed.
This bounded comparison is not a comprehensive repair, accessibility, security, or signature assessment. A tolerant parse or present structure tree does not prove document quality. Rebuilding page images is intentionally destructive.
